A Historic Milestone - The First Robot-Assisted Telesurgery in Serbia and the Region!

We are thrilled to announce that the first robot-assisted telesurgical procedure in Serbia and the region has been successfully performed using the Toumai robotic system by MicroPort MedBot , whose official distributor and partner is Marlo Medic. 

This historic event took place on October 13th at the Univerity Clinical Centre of Serbia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia and Azorg Hospital from Aalst, Belgium. It was performed by Professor Dr. Alexandre Mottrie, founder of the world-renowned Orsi Academy, while the patient was located in Belgium - more than 1,000 km away from Belgrade! This achievement places Serbia on the global map of cutting-edge surgical innovation and marks a major step forward in building a modern, digital healthcare system.
