Marlo Medic at the 5th National Congress of the Urology Section of the Serbian Medical Society in Pančevo

Marlo Medic proudly participated in the 5th National Congress of the Urology Section of the Serbian Medical Society, held from October 31 to November 2, 2024, at the Tamiš Hotel Conference Center in Pančevo. This prestigious event brought together leading urology experts from across the region, providing a platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and innovations in medical practice.

Our company showcased its urology portfolio, with a special focus on products by RZ Medizintechnik and the Toumai laparoscopic surgical robot, developed by Microport MedBot. These advanced solutions significantly enhance the efficiency of diagnostic and surgical procedures in urology, enabling physicians to perform precise diagnostics and minimally invasive interventions. We are proud to have contributed to promoting these innovative technologies, making them more accessible to professionals in the region.

The congress also featured an ESU course (European School of Urology) on the topic, “Complications in Laparoscopic/Robotic Urological Procedures: Prevention, Diagnosis, Management, and Resolution.” Attendees had the opportunity to learn from leading experts about modern techniques for preventing and managing complications in urological surgery.

Key topics covered at the congress included complications during radical prostatectomy, uro-oncology, endourology, surgical methods in the treatment of kidney and bladder cancer, and innovative approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of urogynecological conditions. The program included lectures, case presentations, and interactive discussions, facilitating a comprehensive exchange of knowledge and insights into the latest achievements in urological practice.
